Step 1. Lead in

Have you ever been to a very crowded place? Where?
How much does it cost to stay in a hotel in your city?
Help them answer the questions and you can give them some words to guide them to answer.
Step 2. Listen to the tape of the text and answer the fo llowing questions:

How does Danny feel at the train station?
How many people are there at the station?
What are the people doing at the station?
Why is the child crying?
Answer the questions and discuss the whole text to make sure they understand the meaning. Deal with any question they have and explain

Step 3. Listen to the tape again and let them read after it.
Step 4. Have them read the text for a few minutes. Then let them act out the dialogue in roles.

Work with a partner. Write a dialogue. One of you is arr
7、iving in a city. You need a hotel room. The other person is selling hotel rooms. Practice your dialogue and present it to your classmates.
