Lead-in
Look at the picture and say what is happening.
Vocabulary learning
According to the accident picture, students
3、 think and talk about: Who were in the accident? Where did the accident happen? What were they doing? And then student start to learn the related words and expressions by example sentences with pictures.

Listening task 1
1) By predicting what the boy and driver were doing, students
4、start the first listening task: listen to the conversation between the driver and policewoman and underline the correct words;
2) After listening, teacher check the correct answers with students by showing the conversation again;
3) Teacher make a conclusion that the problem is the driving was tal
5、king on the mobile phone while he was driving.
Listening task 2
1) Teacher lead students predict the whole accident, and lead to the second listening task;
2) Teacher presents the three questions to students first. And then start to listen to the conversation;
3) Teacher checks the answer w
6、ith students by showing the conversation again.
Listening task 3
1) Students predict the result of the accident. And teacher leads students to the next part of listening;
2) Students listen to the conversation and tick the true sentences;
3) Teacher checks the sentences with students by showing

Listening task 4
1) Teacher draws a conclusion about the accident and ask students to give some advice on how to be safe on the road;
2) Students listen to the conversation and complete the advice.

Students watch the video and read along with

1) Teacher asks students to retell the text according to the pictures and key words;
2) Teacher asks students to do a role play;
3) Teacher is the policewoman and ask people questions, and students answer questions according to pictures;
