Step1 Greetings and Revision
Greet the students as usual.
T:What time do you usually get up/…?
S1:I usually get up at six thirty.
T:What time does S1 usually get up/…?
Ss:She usually gets up at six thirty.
Step 2 Presentation
Show many clocks with different ti
3、me on the screen and get the students to practice speaking out the time correctly.
Step 3 Oral Practice
1.Pair work. Get the students to work in pairs to practice the dialogue like this:When do students usually eat dinner? They usually eat dinner at a quarter to seven in the evening.
2.Show some
4、 pictures, each with a child doing something on it and some time. Get the students to match the activities with the time.
Step 4 Listening practice
1c Listen and circle the activities the students hear. Let them listen twice.
1d Listen again. Write the times next to the activities you circled in
5、1c. Play the tape at least twice. After listening, get some students to write down their answers on the blackboard.
Step 5 Summary 時間表達法
整點法:
時間為整點時,可用“整點數(shù)+o’clock”表示。o’clock只能用在表示整點的時間后面,也可省略。舉例:It’s five o’clock. /It’s five.
順讀法:
“先時后分”,先讀整點數(shù),再讀分鐘數(shù),都用基數(shù)詞來讀。遇到數(shù)字0,讀字母O的音。舉例:2:58讀作two fifty-eig
6、ht 4:05讀作four o five
逆讀法:
a.分鐘數(shù)小于30,用“分鐘數(shù)+past+整點數(shù)”表示;
b.分鐘數(shù)為30時,用“half past+整點數(shù)”表示:
c.分鐘數(shù)超過30,用“60減去分鐘數(shù)+to+下一個整點數(shù)”表示;
d.分鐘數(shù)是15時,可用a quarter表示。
由學過的時間表達法引出新的時間表達法。
