Lesson 4 Animal Talk
◆ 教材分析
本課是北師大版《初中英語》八年級上冊教材第二單元,話題為“交流”。本課是本單元第一課,在承接Get Ready部分有關“Communication”話題的基礎上,本課重點介紹動物的交流手段和方式。
本課的教學設計分為兩個課時。第一課時側重對課文的理解,首先通過頭腦風暴激活學生已有的知識:你所了解的動物都有哪些交流方式。隨后通過閱讀,獲取動物的三種主要交流方式。第二遍和第三遍閱讀獲取細節(jié)信息:課文中所提到的動物分別采用哪種交流方式;動物交流的目的是什么。最后結合課文信息和Get
2、Ready部分所討論的話題內容進行語言輸出活動:對比人類和動物的交流有什么不同。在本節(jié)課中還會滲透現(xiàn)在完成時的相關知識,主要從語用功能層面,使學生對現(xiàn)在完成時有初步的認識和了解。
第二課時在復習課文內容的基礎上,引入本課的重點語法內容——現(xiàn)在完成時,通過觀察和分析例句,發(fā)現(xiàn)并總結現(xiàn)在完成時的含義和句型結構。通過分層練習,進一步體會現(xiàn)在完成時的含義,以及與一般現(xiàn)在時的區(qū)別。第二課時的教學還包含對學生學習策略的指導——既不知道詞義的情況下可以查字典,而在諸多義項中選取恰當的詞義還要回歸上下文。
