因?yàn)閷W(xué)生對(duì)于介詞in,on 已經(jīng)稍微熟悉,在此基礎(chǔ)上那個(gè)學(xué)習(xí)under就不算困難。學(xué)生對(duì)于家居物品和學(xué)習(xí)用品很熟悉,學(xué)起來(lái)興趣盎然。所以本單元對(duì)學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)接受起來(lái)還是比較容易的。

【考點(diǎn)聚焦】 where是特殊疑問(wèn)詞,用來(lái)引導(dǎo)特殊疑問(wèn)句。當(dāng)我們不知道某東西在什么地方時(shí),常用Where is/are...?來(lái)詢問(wèn)。

【易混辨析】table與desk
desk表示“桌子”的意思。指供讀書、寫字、辦公用的桌子,一般帶有抽屜。例如:

There are two books on the desk.桌上有兩本書。
table 意思是“桌子”。側(cè)重于指供吃飯、喝茶、游戲或其它用途的桌子,通常沒(méi)有抽屜。例如:

1.—Where’s my pencil box? 我的鉛筆盒在哪兒?
—It’s in your schoolbag. 在你的書包里。
1) 詢問(wèn)某人或某物在哪個(gè)地方,可用句型“Where + be + 主語(yǔ)(人或物)?”。where是疑問(wèn)副詞,意為“在哪里”,be要隨著后面主語(yǔ)人稱單復(fù)數(shù)進(jìn)行變化,單數(shù)用is,復(fù)數(shù)用are。where’s 是where is的縮寫形式,回答時(shí)不能用yes或no,而是問(wèn)什么就答什么。如果主語(yǔ)是人,回答時(shí)用人稱代詞主格做主語(yǔ);如果主語(yǔ)是物,回答時(shí)單數(shù)為“It’s + 表示地點(diǎn)的詞”,復(fù)數(shù)用“They are + 表示地點(diǎn)的詞”。如:
—Where’s my baseball? 我的網(wǎng)球在哪兒?
—It’s under the desk. 在桌子底下。
—Where are my English books? 我的英語(yǔ)書在哪兒?
—They are on the chair. 在椅子上。
2) in是介詞,用來(lái)表示地點(diǎn),意為“在……里面”。如:
—Where’s Tom? 湯姆在哪兒?
—He is in the room. 他在房間里。
2. —Where’s my computer game? 我的電子游戲機(jī)在哪兒?
—It’s under your bed. 在你的床底下。
1) computer game在此句中意為“電子游戲機(jī)”,另外,computer game也有“電子游戲”,“電腦游戲”等意思,其復(fù)數(shù)形式為computer games。注意:由兩個(gè)名詞組成的短語(yǔ),一般情況下復(fù)數(shù)形式是把第二個(gè)名詞變成復(fù)數(shù),第一個(gè)名詞不變。如:These are banana trees. 這些是香蕉樹。
2) under是介詞,意為“在……下面”,表示方位,常指一個(gè)物體在另一個(gè)物體的垂直下方,二者之間往往沒(méi)有接觸。如:
Her shoes are under the desk. 她的鞋在桌子底下。
Let’s sit under the tree. 咱們坐在樹底下。
3. —Where is the pencil? 鉛筆哪兒?
—I don’t know.我不知道
1) 當(dāng)別人向你詢問(wèn)的事情你不知道時(shí),可用I don’t know.作答,使用時(shí),習(xí)慣在前面加上Sorry. / I’m sorry. 這樣語(yǔ)氣上顯得更客氣些。如:
—Where is my pencil? 我的鉛筆在哪兒?
—Sorry, I don’t know. 對(duì)不起,我不知道。
【語(yǔ)法詳解】
where 引導(dǎo)的特殊疑問(wèn)句
where,漢語(yǔ)意思是“哪里、哪兒”。與who,what等一樣,也喜歡提問(wèn)。不過(guò),where是疑問(wèn)副詞,where的職責(zé)是用來(lái)對(duì)“地點(diǎn)”進(jìn)行提問(wèn)。問(wèn)“某人在哪里”或“某物在哪里
【特點(diǎn)一】where常用來(lái)提問(wèn)表示地點(diǎn)的副詞或介詞短語(yǔ)。帶where的句中不能再有表示地點(diǎn)的副詞或in,at,on,under等構(gòu)成的介詞短語(yǔ)。如:
—Where do you live?
你住在哪里?(這里不用live in)
—I live in Beijing.
我住在北京。
【特點(diǎn)二】where問(wèn)“哪里”,如果問(wèn)句中出現(xiàn)表示來(lái)源或方向的介詞時(shí),此時(shí)where具有代詞的性質(zhì),介詞就不能省掉。如:
Where are you from?你從哪里來(lái)?
Where are you driving to?你開(kāi)車到哪里去?
【特點(diǎn)三】 當(dāng)where詢問(wèn)的物品數(shù)量為單數(shù)時(shí),be動(dòng)詞要使用is,因?yàn)樵撐锲吩趩?wèn)句中提到過(guò),所以回答時(shí)用代詞it代替該物品就可以了。如:
—Where is my baseball?我的棒球在哪兒?
—It’s in the backpack.在背包里。
當(dāng)所詢問(wèn)的物品數(shù)量為復(fù)數(shù)時(shí),be動(dòng)詞使用are,因?yàn)樵撐锲吩趩?wèn)句中提到過(guò),所以回答時(shí)用代詞they代替該物品。如:
—Where are my books?我的書在哪兒?
—They’re on the sofa.在沙發(fā)上。
【特別提醒】 Where is可以縮寫成Where’s,但Where are不能縮寫。
