Teaching steps
1 Arouse st
2、udents’ interest in the story. Encourage students to deal with the text as a plete story throughout this activity. Give them opportunities to reproduce parts f the text rather than deal with specific answers only.
Talk to students about their favorite piece of clothing .Ask them questions about
3、 how that piece of clothing was made and how it might feel, first when they bought it, and then on some specific occasions when they wore it. Tell them a story about one of your favorite clothing items.
2 Tell students that they ate listening to three parts of a story about trainer .First, they
4、 are listening to a description about different parts of a train. Ask students to look at the difference parts of the train in Part A1 .Then tell them that they will listen to a description on the recording , which will help them identify the parts of the trainer correctly.
3 Play the recording
5、 .Have students labels the parts of the trainer in Part A1. Divide students into pairs and ask them to pare their answers.
4 Ask students to read Part A2 individually .Identify any words they do not know. Check the meaning of the word ‘sew’.

1 Ask students to do task in Part B
2 Present the conversation line by line, focusing on intonation and the linking of words. Ask students to repeat the sentences as they hear them. Make sure that they do not sound monotonous or mechanical.

Games
Each student has four pictures of clothing items, ask students to describes the clothing item on one of the pictures without saying the name. The others have to guess the correct picture. The student who guesses the correct answer gets a point.
