Teaching procedures:
Step1. Warming up

2. Do the exercise 1.
3. First give four sentences and ask student guess who they are?
Step2 Listen to learn
1. How to express agree and disagree?
2.First ask students to express ag
2、ree and disagree then read these words
agree, think, you’re right, don’t agree, in my opinion, personally
3.Do the exercise 2
Students listen again, fill in the blanks with the key words .
Step3 Listening
1. Read through the Listening Strategies with the students and show students Key words t
3、o see if they can guess the meaning of these words.
Ask students to pronounce the Key Words. One of purposes is that can then check if their pronunciation is correct as they listen to the tape. The other purpose is to remember these words to understand the radio Programme better.

Step4 Pronunciation: stress
1. Ask students to read the four sentences and predict where the stressed will occur in sentences. They listen to the cassette and see if they were correct.
2. Play the cassette again for students to repeat the sentences
Step5 speaking
Give students time to read about some famous people. They take turns to choose a hero and ask and answer three questions about their hero. Encourage students to use an interview approach.
