Module 1 Travel Unit 1 We toured the city by bus and by taxi. ◆ 教材分析 本模塊以“Travel”為話題,以學習談?wù)撟约夯蛩说穆眯袨橹骶€,介紹了旅行中發(fā)生的事件。通過模塊學習,學生將重點掌握定冠詞與不定冠詞的用法,并能運用所學知識介紹自己或他人的旅行經(jīng)歷。Unit 1 通過聽、讀、說訓練,初步學習談?wù)撀眯械姆椒ā? ◆ 教學目標 【知識目標】 1. Key vocabulary: flight, because of, direct, pilot, succeed, as long as, school-leaver, exactly 2. Key structures: Sentence structure 【能力目標】 Enable the students to listen to and talk about trips. 【情感目標】 To improve listening and speaking ability. ◆ 教學重難點 ◆ 【教學重點】 To understand the conversations conversation with regard to “travel”. 【教學難點】 To talk about one’s holiday and new term. ◆ 課前準備 ◆ 1.課前準備:調(diào)試光盤與課件、給學生分組、為學生布置預(yù)習作業(yè)等; 2.教具學具:光盤、大卡片等。 ◆ 教學過程 Step1. Words 1.Teach the new words and phrases in the lesson with the Chinese explanation and exact pronunciation. 2.Show the Chinese meanings to let student answer English correspondents. 3.Encourage students to talk about the journey they have done with these new words. Step2. Talking 1.Get students to talk about the vehicles they travel by. 2.List all the vehicles students have learned. 3. Look at the following pictures and talk about the forms of transportation. 4.Topic: What’s your favourite type of transportation? Why? 1) I most like to travel by _____________. 2) I least like to travel by _____________. 3) I travel most often by ______________. 4) I travel least often by ______________. 5.Make a discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of varieties of transportation. 6. Talk about these questions and describe your last trip. Where did you go? How did you go there? What did you do there? How was your trip? Did you have a good time? 7. Work in pairs to make a complete dialogue. Step3. Learning 1.Teach the important words and phrases with their collocations. Encourage students to employ them. 2.Teach the language patterns. And then let students make a drills. We toured the city by bus and by taxi. — What did you do during the winter holiday? — I went to see my grandparents in Xi’an. 3. Watch the clips and read the text. Give students the guidance: When you listen to the recording, try to note down the key information. Your notes will then help you retell the main information. 4.Listen and read the whole dialogues. Let students highlight the key parts. 5.After reading, complete the information table. 老師拿出提前準備好的動物面具,請學生到臺上扮演這些動物。然后請另一些學生扮演Lingling和Amy,進行表演。 Step4. Language points 1. be full of 意為“充滿……;裝滿……”,其后可接可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)或不可數(shù)名詞。同義短語為be filled with。 2. becauseof意為“因為;由于”,后可接名詞、代詞或V-ing形式。because意為“因為;由于”,是連詞,后接句子,常用來回答由why引導的特殊疑問句。 3. succeed in doing… 表示“成功地做……”。 4. as long as在這里引導條件狀語從句,表示“只要”,也可以用so long as表達同樣的意思。 Step5. After reading 1.Answer the questions in the slide after reading the whole conversation. 2.Identify the correct usages of the words in the bar. Step6. Summary 1.Summarize the main sentence patterns in the unit. 2.Show the important phrases to consolidate the learned knowledges. Step7.
