1、 2012-2013 英語必修 4 人教版新課標 Unit 5 金牌教案( Period 1 ) Unit 5 Theme parks 第一部分 《金色教案》教學(xué)設(shè)計說明 About the topic and the structures 單元話題和結(jié)構(gòu) 本單元的話題是“主題公園”, 介紹了一些著名的主題公園, 并讓學(xué)生解了主題 公園與一般公園的異同, 以及主題公園半個世紀以來的發(fā)展, 讓學(xué)生懂得主題公園帶給人們的不僅 僅是娛樂, 還有各種各樣的知識

2、和激動人心的新體驗。文章側(cè)重介紹了幾個類型的主題公園,讓學(xué) 生開闊了視野,對本單元的話題有了較為全面的了解。 本單元語言知識項目是“構(gòu)詞法” 。 本單元功能項目是:問路、問方向。 本單元還要求學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)寫作“解釋文:小冊子” 。 《金色教案》教學(xué)設(shè)計在單元課時劃分上與課本保持一致,即“閱讀課、知識課、運用課三課時 / 三課型劃分” 。但在實際教學(xué)過程中,建議教師依據(jù)學(xué)生基礎(chǔ)、教學(xué)條件、學(xué)校安排的因素,對課 本、對《金色教案》教學(xué)設(shè)計重新劃分課時,裁剪、拼接使用提供的材料,以便“物盡所用” ,達 到最佳教學(xué)效果。教師也可以參照《金色教案》提供的“實際

3、教學(xué)過程課時劃分建議”進行教學(xué)。 Period 1 Reading 閱讀課 Warming Up 課本以圖片呈現(xiàn)不同風(fēng)格的主題公園,引起學(xué)生興趣,然后提出問題,便于 學(xué)生小組討論。教師也可以參考使用本書如下設(shè)計進行熱身:  Warming up by discussing  ,Warming up by watching and listening  ,Warming up by telling experiences  。 Pre-reading  課本和本書的設(shè)

4、計都是“看圖討論”  。 Reading 通過釋讀題目( THEME PARKS—— FUN AND MORE THAN FUN),明確建造主題公園的目的, 幫助學(xué)生加強對本主題的理解。課后練習(xí)題的設(shè)置科學(xué)合理,由淺入深,有理解部分也有學(xué)生自 己思考、寫的內(nèi)容,不僅鍛煉了學(xué)生思考問題、解決問題的能力,也鍛煉了學(xué)生的書寫、寫作的 能力。教師應(yīng)當(dāng)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生從形式到內(nèi)容理解課文、記憶課文、運用課文。教師可以參考本書下列 程序設(shè)計: Talking and sharing , Listening and reading aloud Read

5、ing to identify the topic sentence of each paragraph information , Reading and understanding difficult sentences  , Reading and underlining , Reading and transferring , Closing down by having  , a discussion  。 Period 2 Learning about langu

6、age 知識課 Learning about Languag e 分為兩個部分, Discovering useful words and expressions 涉及閱讀中的主要詞匯,鞏固了所學(xué)內(nèi)容。 Discovering useful structures 歸納、介紹了一些構(gòu) 詞法知識,如合成法、派生法(前綴、后綴)  ,對于學(xué)生有效地記憶詞匯、了解英語詞匯的構(gòu)成會 有一定的幫助。 至于教學(xué)步驟,請參考:  Warming up by discovering  useful  words and

7、 expressions  ,  Learning about Word formation  ,Ready used materials  for  Word formation  ,Closing  down by summarizing  。 Period 3 Using language 運用課 Using Languag e 部分,通過聽、讀和說、寫的訓(xùn)練,介紹了深圳的中華名俗文化 村、法國的“觀測未來( FUTUROSCOPE)”科技主題

8、公園,讓學(xué)生在情景中運用語言,同時了解不 同文化背景、不同類型的主題公園,拓寬視野。寫作部分要求學(xué)生以義務(wù)導(dǎo)游的身份自選一個主 題公園,寫一篇介紹短文;說的部分,要求學(xué)生以“問路”為題,進行角色扮演。這些為學(xué)生提 供了使用本單元所學(xué)語言的情景和機會。  本書如下教學(xué)步驟可能對教師們有所幫助:  Warming up by listening  and reading aloud , Reading and underlining  , Doing exercises  , Acting  , D

9、oing a project  , Closing down by filling a form 實際教學(xué)過程課時劃分建議 Period 1 將 Warming Up、 Pre-reading  、Reading  和  Comprehending  整合在一起上一節(jié) “閱 讀課”。 Period 2  將 Learning about language  和 Workbook 中的  USING

10、 WORDS AND EXPRESSIONS、 USING STRUCTURES整合在一起上一節(jié)“語言知識課”  。 Period 3  將 Using language  設(shè)計為一節(jié)包括聽說讀寫單項技能或組合技能訓(xùn)練的  “綜合技 能課(一)”。 Period 4 將 Workbook 的 READINGANDLISTENING 和 TALKING整合在一起上一節(jié)“聽說課” 。 Period 5 將 Workbook 的 LISTENING TASK、 READING AND WRI

11、TING TASK和 SPEAKING TASK 整合為一節(jié)“綜合技能課(二)”。 第二部分 教學(xué)資源說明 Section 1 Background 背景 圍繞單元話題“ Festival around the world ”,《金色教案》提供了幾則語言規(guī) 范、短小精干的趣味性材料。這些材料既可以作為教師教學(xué)參考材料為教師所用,也可以直接或 改寫、重組后作為課堂內(nèi)外的拓展性閱讀材料呈現(xiàn)給學(xué)生。 Section 2 Explanation 解析 重點針對“閱讀課型”中

12、的課文難句,《金色教案》不僅提供了詳盡的,就句論 句的解析和翻譯,而且還以解析的焦點話題為線索,進行了一定的歸納、辨析和總結(jié),以幫助教 師更好地實施“語言形式”的教學(xué)。 Section 3 Vocabulary 詞匯 按照課本單元詞匯表順序,《金色教案》重點提供動詞、短語搭配的講解。所提 供的例句,經(jīng)典、地道、實用、易懂,完全可以直接用于教學(xué)。 第三部分 教學(xué)測評說明 圍繞單元詞法、句法項目,《金色教案》提供了長短不一的“單元教學(xué)測評”,并備有參考答案供教師使用。有些題目直接源于歷年高考試

17、nging, or just relax a bit. 3. They are more than amusement parks with rides, such as a Ferris wheel, merry-go-around or a roller coaster. 4. Others show us how special groups of people dress today, what they eat and what their homes look like. 5.

18、 Other theme parks include marine or ocean parks, where visitors can see and swim with dolphins and learn about ocean life. 6. You could , if you like, go with famous divers to the bottom of the ocean and see mysterious, blind creatures that have never seen the sunlight.

22、n 1999, making Universal Orlando the nations second multi-gate theme park resort (after Walt Disney World). IOA was Universals first non-studio theme park, and was intended to pay tribute to characters from books, comics, cartoons and legend, rather than movies. Of

23、 course, that hasnt stopped Universal and other studios from making films about almost every character represented in IOA over the past few years, rendering the park thematically indistinguishable from its sister, Universal Studios Florida. Warming up by telling experi

24、ences As you have all traveled somewhere before I shall ask two of you at random to tell the class about their travel experiences. For reference: Visiting Disney World was a childhood dream of mine, and I was able to re

25、alize it last year. It is not a place I could live in, but it definitely has magic. One of the best parts was that I was able to interact with most of the Disney characters, even though their appearance and mannerisms varied from the Disney com

26、ic books I read. A few select pictures are included here, but my recommendation if youre taking a kid is to make sure they get some time with the characters. I cant think of anything cooler. 2. Looking and saying

27、 Work in pairs. Look at the photos and theme parks and predict the contents of the text. Whenyou are ready, join another pair and compare your predictions and the clues that helped you to make the predictions. For reference: From the

31、ats in drying machines), and walk away amused and entertained. That was Walt Disneys primary goal. Today, people might consider the first cartoon featuring Mickey as art, along with a host of other creative works produced by people who work at Disney. Notable among th

32、em are Carl Barks and Don Rosa, whose works sell in the thousands. However, Walt Disney himself never thought that what he, and his employees, did was art: "I dont pretend to know anything about art. I make pictures for entertainment, and then the professors tell me what they mean." 4. Lis

33、tening and reading aloud Reading aloud to the recording of the text improves our literacy skills — reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Now please listen and read aloud to the recording of the text THEME PARKS— FUN AND MORE THAN FUN. Pay attention to the pronunciation of each word an

34、d the pauses within each sentence. 5. Reading and underlining A really useful way to help us with our listening is to become aware of thought groups . When we speak, we need to divide speech up into small chunks to help the listener understand mes

35、sages. These chunks or thought groups are groups of words which go together to express an idea or thought. In English, we use pauses and low pitch to mark the end of thought groups. Next you are to read the text, dividing the text into thought groups

Most of its residents have the money and time to entertain themselves as it pleases them — and visiting amusement parks certainly does please them.
