《M8 unit4 Project》教學(xué)實(shí)踐報(bào)告 (指導(dǎo)思想,設(shè)計(jì)方法等說(shuō)明) 高中英語(yǔ)牛津教材的編寫(xiě)體系非常清晰,每個(gè)單元共7個(gè)板塊,分別是 1、Welcome to the Unit 2、reading 3、word power 4、grammar and usage 5、Task 6、project 7、Self-assessment。 其中project部分是一個(gè)單元的動(dòng)手操作部分,它的要求是學(xué)生要將課內(nèi)知識(shí)向課外延伸,運(yùn)用本單元的所學(xué)知識(shí),進(jìn)行實(shí)踐操作,動(dòng)手寫(xiě)作一篇電影評(píng)論。因此,我的設(shè)計(jì)就是要讓學(xué)生首先了解電影評(píng)論的基本構(gòu)成,它有哪些要素。通過(guò)閱讀一篇電影評(píng)論,讓學(xué)生完成兩次閱讀,分別是對(duì)電影評(píng)論的框架和內(nèi)容的理解和認(rèn)識(shí),再上升到理論層面,最后讓學(xué)生動(dòng)手寫(xiě)一篇電影評(píng)論,借助學(xué)生對(duì)電影的喜愛(ài)激發(fā)學(xué)習(xí)寫(xiě)影評(píng)的積極性,同時(shí)提升對(duì)電影的審美觀。做到由范文閱讀到理論指導(dǎo),再到實(shí)踐操作,這樣一個(gè)循序漸進(jìn)的過(guò)程。充分體現(xiàn)了教材的編寫(xiě)意圖,在教教材的基礎(chǔ)上,力爭(zhēng)做到用好教材。 一、實(shí)踐過(guò)程 Step 1 Lead-in (PPT4—5) (Play the short TV program)How many Harry Potter films have been produced? And which is your favorite? (Play part of the 7th film: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows)What do you think of this film, compared with the others? [Explanation] 播放文件夾中第一個(gè)電視節(jié)目視頻,通過(guò)兩個(gè)問(wèn)題導(dǎo)出本文的主題,同時(shí)激發(fā)學(xué)生濃厚的興趣;然后播放哈里?波特第七部部分內(nèi)容,讓學(xué)生對(duì)這篇影評(píng)有個(gè)背景的了解,并產(chǎn)生自己對(duì)影片的評(píng)價(jià)。 Step 2 First reading (PPT6) How is this reading passage organized? Part 1: Para.1~3 brief introduction of the film’s plot. Part 2: Para.4~5 the writer’s commentary on the special effects and acting in the film. Part 3: Para. 6~7 problems of the film. Part 4: Para.8 recommendation by the writer. Step 3 Second reading (PPT7) ? What kind of person is Harry Potter? ? How do the Dursleys treat him? ? How did his parents die? ? Who are Harry’s new friends? And what do they learn about together? ? What are many people’s complaints about the film? ? What does the review’s writer think of the film? Step 4 Details: listen to the tape and complete the following table. (PPT 8—9) Main character Information about the character Played by Harry Potter l (A sensitive boy whose parents were a wizard and a witch and were killed by an evil wizard when Harry was a baby. l living with his relatives, the Dursleys, and abused, ignored and hated by them. l having the magic powers of wizard and a reputation in the world of witches and wizards because of his parents.) (Daniel Radcliffe) Hagrid (a very large person who works at Hogwarts and rescues Harry from the Dursleys and takes him to the school) (Robbie Coltrane) Ron Weasley (Harry’s friend and schoolmate) (Rupert Grint) Hermione Granger (Harry’s friend and schoolmate) (Emma Eatson) Voldemort (the school’s evil wizard, who killed Harry’s parent) [Explanation] 以上閱讀練習(xí)有兩個(gè)作用,一是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生對(duì)文章結(jié)構(gòu)的了解、細(xì)節(jié)信息的把握等能力;二是讓學(xué)生了解影評(píng)的寫(xiě)作結(jié)構(gòu)和方法。 Step 5 Language points (PPT10—25) 1. Harry, a sensitive young boy, has been living with his relatives. (Line 3) 1) 現(xiàn)在完成進(jìn)行時(shí)可強(qiáng)調(diào)事件的延續(xù)性 It has been raining non-stop since last night. I wonder when it will stop. 2)現(xiàn)在完成進(jìn)行時(shí)可表動(dòng)作的重復(fù) I have been knocking. I don’t think anybody’s in. 3) 現(xiàn)在完成進(jìn)行時(shí)可表達(dá)感情色彩 Oh, you have come at last! Contrary to this, Harry finds out that his father was a wizard…Line 6) contrary to此處意為 “和……相反”,也可以表示 “不接受意見(jiàn)”。相當(dāng)于一個(gè)介詞短語(yǔ),后面可跟名詞、名詞短語(yǔ)或從句。 1)He is an able politician, _________________. (與普遍的看法相反) 2)___________________, he gave up his job. (他不聽(tīng)任何人的意見(jiàn)) 1)contrary to popular belief 2)Contrary to all advice 3. While the report of Quidditch is an important part of the book…I feel that too much time is dedicated in the film to showing it. (Line 44) while : 盡管、雖然,引導(dǎo)讓步狀語(yǔ)從句,相當(dāng)于 though、 although。 1)盡管我愿意幫忙,但卻沒(méi)有多少時(shí)間。 ____________________________________________. 2)盡管這個(gè)老師愛(ài)學(xué)生,她對(duì)他們的要求還是非常嚴(yán)格的。 ____________________________________________. 1)While/Though/ Although I am willing to help, I do not have much time available. 2)While/Though/ Although the teacher loves her students, she is very strict with them. 4 I think this is more to highlight the advanced special effects than to help the film’s plot. [Explanation] 本課的語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)知識(shí)比較重要,所以采用邊講邊練的方法促進(jìn)學(xué)生思中學(xué),學(xué)中思。所以,設(shè)置以上主要以英漢互譯形式的練習(xí)來(lái)詮釋語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)。 Step 6 Starting the project(PPT26—30) Purpose of a film review: to inform readers about a particular film before they watch it. Steps of writing a film review: planning, preparing, producing, presenting. 1)What should be included in a film review? topic, production year, plot, major characters, comment on the film. 2)Choose a film to review. 3) Practice your presentation. 4)Present your review to the others. You decide which group’s performance is the best. [Explanation] 小組合作是本課的主要教學(xué)目標(biāo)之一,所以,課堂上應(yīng)留一部分時(shí)間供小組討論P(yáng)art B的問(wèn)題,消化上課所分析的影評(píng)結(jié)構(gòu)和寫(xiě)作風(fēng)格,制定本小組的合作計(jì)劃,并向全班同學(xué)展示。 Step 7 Homework (PPT31) 1) Review the text. 2) Try to remember the language points and prepare to dictate them. 二、收獲與體會(huì) Project的教學(xué)可以說(shuō)是一個(gè)單元的教學(xué)內(nèi)容的升華,我們說(shuō)學(xué)以致用。英語(yǔ)是門(mén)工具性學(xué)科,語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)的目的在于運(yùn)用,學(xué)生通過(guò)電影評(píng)論的學(xué)習(xí),到用所學(xué)語(yǔ)言材料動(dòng)手寫(xiě)一篇電影評(píng)論,讓學(xué)生感到一段時(shí)間所學(xué)知識(shí)的用途,嘗到了語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)的甜頭,更加激發(fā)了學(xué)生英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的積極性。 三、問(wèn)題與建議 在本節(jié)Project的教學(xué)中,我覺(jué)得教師在詞匯和語(yǔ)法教學(xué)上還是有點(diǎn)放不下。詞匯和語(yǔ)法教學(xué)固然重要,但是并不是教材中的所有詞匯和語(yǔ)法都需要教師進(jìn)行講解。本課教完之后,我感覺(jué),在這部分的詞匯和語(yǔ)法只要不影響學(xué)生的理解和運(yùn)用教師就可以不必過(guò)多解釋?zhuān)處煹倪^(guò)多解釋既影響了課時(shí)進(jìn)度,又影響了本課的重點(diǎn)內(nèi)容的突出。建議以后在Project的教學(xué)中,詞匯和語(yǔ)法盡量少處理,特別是不影響運(yùn)用的詞匯和語(yǔ)法可以不處理。 4- 1.請(qǐng)仔細(xì)閱讀文檔,確保文檔完整性,對(duì)于不預(yù)覽、不比對(duì)內(nèi)容而直接下載帶來(lái)的問(wèn)題本站不予受理。
