Starter Unit 2 What’s this in English? I.教學設計分析 Starter Unit 2 What’s this in English? 是預備篇三個單元的第二個單元。預備篇是為了使沒有英語學習基礎的學生更好地使用本套教材而編寫的。本單元的基礎內容為:學習Ii –Rr 10個字母,學習用“What’s this in English?”,“It’s a/an...”詢問并回答,區(qū)分this和that,用“Spell it,please.”拼寫單詞0range,ruler,pen,jacket,quilt,key,map,cup。 II. Key points: 1.字母:Ii—Rr的讀音、筆順和筆畫 2.重點單詞:map,ruler,pen,orange,key,jacket,quilt 3.重點句式: —What is this/that in English? —It is a/an... Difficult point: 1.掌握字母Ii—Rr的讀音及書寫 2.能夠辨認物品,拼寫單詞 II. 教學學時分配 Teaching periods: Period 1: 1a - 1c,3a-3e Period 2: 2a - 2e,4a-4d Starter Unit 2 What’s this in English? The First Period Section A(1a-1c,3a-3e) I. Teaching aims a) 復習鞏固字母Aa--Hh b) 復習打招呼的用語、朋友見面的問候語和應答。 C)學習確認物體(Identify things) d)學習What is this in English? It is a/an map/orange. Spell it, please. II. Key points 1. Vocabulary:Map , ruler , pen , orange , key , jacket, quilt. 2. Sentence pattern:What is this in English? It is a/an map/orange. Spell it, please. Difficult point 7個表示物體的單詞的熟練掌握。 a/an 的初步用法 III. Teaching aids Multimedia/A tape recorder/A blackboard IV. Teaching procedures Step1 Warming up and leading in 1. Guessing game Teachers show a part of a letter and ask,“What’s this?”Get the students to answer the questions like this“I think it’s A/B.” Then show the whole of the letter to let the students check whether they’re right or wrong. 2. Identify things Put up a picture of a room .Point to the things in the room and ask “What’s this in English ?” Ask students to answer and learn the new words .( ruler map quilt jacket cup pen orange key ). 3. Pair-work Look at 1a,one student say a word ,the other students find in the picture and check it . Step 2 Listening for the general idea 1. Listen to the tape check what have listened . 2. Do 1b, listen and repeat the dialogue . Step 3 Post-listening activities 1. Making a new dialogue. Students work in pairs .Ask and answer like this : A: What’s this in English ? B: It’s a\an ……. 2. Do 3a, 3b. Listen to the tape and finish them .check the answers. 3. Do 3c 3d. listen and check the things listened . Listen again and finish exercises on book . 4. Make a new dialogue. Give a picture of a room ,ask students to practices in pairs .and then show in front . What’s that in English ? It’s a\an …… Spell it , please . …….. Step 4 Inquiry into knowledge by translation 一、那個用英語怎么說?_________________________________ This that 是__________詞. Please 用于_______________________________ 三、翻譯下列句子。 1,這個用英語怎么說?______________________________ 2,它是以個桔子。__________________________________ 3,它是一把尺子。___________________________________ Notes : a\an是_________。冠詞是用在名詞前面,幫助說明名詞所指的人或事物,是泛指還是特指的詞。a\ an是不定冠詞,僅用在___________前面,表示“一”的意義,但不強調數目觀念。a用在以____________開頭的詞前, an用在以____________開頭的詞前 Step 5 Homework 1. Teaching procedures Step 1 Warming up 1. Act the sentences in pairs: (S-T,S-S) Good morning/afternoon/evening! How are you? I’m fine, thanks. How are you? I’m OK. 2. Have a game. Have a guessing game .put up some parts of the letters ,ask “what’s this ?” let students guess. Step 2 Listening 1. Do 2a. Listen and learn the pronunciation of the letters . Listen again and try to repeat . Say and practice the pronunciation of the letters . 2. Do 2b. listen and number the letters you hear . Students listen and give the answers . check in class. Have a game .let students recite the letters. Step 3 Writing-practice 1. Do 2c. Learn to write the letters . Put a letter “ Ii ” on blackboard. Ask “ what’s this ? ” Lead students answer “ It’s Ii .” let them know the meaning and try to say out . Learn how to write this letter .Use the same way to learn “ Jj----Rr ”. A: What’s this ? B: It’s I. (Let students pay attention to the stroke and the form.) 2. Do 2d. Write the missing big letter or the small letter for each pair. 3. Do 2e. Talk about what these letters mean. Inquiry into knowledge by translation. 總結字母的書寫規(guī)則: __________________________________________________ Step 4 Have a game 1. Make a letter card. Let the other students read and say . 2. Make some cards about “ P ,NBA , kg ”. Let students know the meaning . 3. Group-work. 4a 4b do by students themselves , then discuss the answers in group . Let students recite from Aa to Rr and then have a dictation. Ask some students to recite the letters . Step 5 Listen and repeat 1. Do 4c. Listen and repeat the letters.find out the similar . write the same pronunciation. Then let students try to read 4d.
